Christopher M. Connor

Mr. Christopher M. Connor, also known as Chris, has been the Chief Executive Officer at The Sherwin-Williams Company since October 1999 and Chairman of the Board since April 2000. Mr. Connor has been with Sherwin-Williams since 1983 in roles of increasing responsibility. He served as the President of Sherwin-Williams Co., from July 2005 to October 2006. He served as the President of Paint Stores Group of Sherwin-Williams from August 1997 to October 1999. He serves as the Chairman of Sherwin-Williams Canada Inc. Mr. Connor has been the Chairman and Director of Greater Cleveland Partnership since March 2012. He has been the Chair of The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland since January 1, 2015 and previously served as its Deputy Chairman from January 1, 2013 to January 1, 2015. He served as the Chairman of BioEnterprise Corporation. He served as Vice Chairman of Sherwin-Williams from October 1999 to April 2000. He has been an Independent Director of Eaton Corporation plc since April 26, 2006, The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland since February 2011 and The Sherwin-Williams Company since 1999. Mr. Connor served as a Director of National City Bank. He served as a Director of National City Corporation since 2002. He served as a Director of Diebold, Incorporated from 2002 to April 27, 2006. He serves as the Non-Executive Chairman of University Hospitals Health System. He serves as a Director of the National Association of Manufacturers, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum and United Way Services of Greater Cleveland. He serves as a Trustee of Keep America Beautiful, University Hospitals of Cleveland and the Musical Arts Association (The Cleveland Orchestra). Mr. Connor is a Member of the Dean's Advisory Council of the Fisher College of Business, The Ohio State University.
