Dr. Chris Mann is a native of Albany, Georgia. He attended Albany Junior College (now known as Darton College) before transferring to the University of Georgia to complete his BS in Pharmacy. While in Athens, he was recognized for his exceptional academic performance with the Robert Wilson Outstanding Graduate Award.

He returned to Albany to work as a pharmacist for 3 years before again entering the classroom to pursue a medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia. During this time, he earned membership in the highly esteemed Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. After receiving his medical degree, Dr. Mann continued his training in the Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery program in Augusta. With his surgical training complete, Dr. Mann again returned “home”, joining Albany Ear, Nose, and Throat Albany in 1992.

He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology (Head and Neck Surgery) and is active in several medical organizations including The American Academy of Otolaryngology (Head and Neck Surgery), the Georgia Society of Otolaryngology, the American Medical Association, Medical Association of Georgia, and the Dougherty County Medical Society. He is on active staff for Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital where he has served on numerous medical staff committees and in several leadership positions.
