Chris Amos, Ph.D., is a Professor and Director at the Institute of Clinical and Translational Medicine, and Assoc. Director of Quantitative Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine. His focus has been in the development and application of novel methods for understanding the basis of inherited predisposition to cancer and other complex diseases. He developed design criteria for the conduct of genetics studies and subsequently applied these for studying families and for population-based analysis.
