Christopher Davis MD

Dr. Chris Davis attended the University of Colorado Medical School and completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Denver Health. He completed his fellowship in Wilderness Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Along the way he also completed the diploma course at the London School for Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. Academic interests include altitude medicine, lightning injuries, tropical disease, and expedition medicine.

Dr. Davis is currently the Assistant Fellowship Director and currently collaborates with Dr. Rob Roach at the Altitude Research Center on work involving high altitude acclimatization and high altitude pulmonary edema. He is Assistant Director of the Colorado Clinic for Altitude and Mountain Medicine (CCAMM) which provides diagnosis and treatment of altitude-related conditions and medical advice for the mountain environment. Dr. Davis serves as an instructor of Wilderness Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and is a medical liaison for the Colorado Outward Bound School.
