Chris Rorick serves as Senior Policy Advisor. He brings with him 15 years of experience in both state and federal government service and government relations. His focus is in health care and health science policy representing numerous physicians, nursing, and medical research associations. Rorick was born in Boulder, Colo., and received a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Colorado in 2001 and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Northern Colorado in 1996.
Prior to joining Bryan Cave, Rorick served for four years as associate director of government relations for The Endocrine Society, the nation’s largest association representing those in the field of endocrinology. In that capacity Rorick was charged with representing the Society’s interests before Congress and numerous federal agencies. Rorick also has served as an associate at a premier state government relations firm providing companies and organizations with state government legislative analysis concerning tax, commerce, and health care issues.
Rorick also served in both the state district office and Washington, D.C. office of a U.S. Congressman from Colorado. During his tenure on Capitol Hill he was responsible for covering a variety of legislative issues. Rorick also has served as a legislative aide to two members of the Colorado General Assembly. His experience extends to both federal and state campaigning beginning his career serving as a political staff aide to the Colorado Republican Party.
