Christoph Klenk, M.D. Ph.D., is a Marie Curie postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Biochemistry, University of Zurich. He received his M.D. degree and his Ph.D. degree in molecular pharmacology from University of Würzburg, Germany.
Dr. Klenk intensively studiedthe function of G protein-coupled receptors with a focus on activation and signaling mechanisms of the parathyroid hormone receptor, one of the key targets of osteoporosis therapy. Recently, he joined the lab of Dr. Andreas Plückthun to investigate the structure-function relationship of G protein-coupled receptors using directed evolution.
