Christoph Andree MD

Professor Dr. Med. Christoph Andree after completing his studies and doctorate at the Regional Burn Center of the University of California San Diego, Prof. Andree was awarded a fellowship at the Havard Medical School in Boston, USA. For his research in Boston, he received the Ferdinand Sauerbruch Research Award. His habilitation followed in 2013 at Freiburg University Hospital.

Every year, Prof. Andree and his team perform more than 250 breast reconstructions with autologous tissue. In addition, he organizes the annual International Breast Symposium in Düsseldorf, where more than 650 plastic surgeons from all over the world benefit from his experience.
