Christine Louise Schmotzer MD

Dr. Christine Schmotzer earned her B.A. in Biochemistry and Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University in 1999 and remained at CWRU to earn her M.D. in 2004. She completed her residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology as well as a Molecular Genetic Pathology Fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2009, Dr. Schmotzer joined University Hospitals Case Medical Center as Director of Clinical Chemistry where she oversees the chemistry core laboratory and special chemistry sections. She is also serves as Medical Director of the University Hospitals Translational Laboratory and has an academic appointment of Assistant Professor of Pathology at Case Western Reserve University.
