My clinical practice and research studies have focused on outcomes and methods to improve health-related quality of life in patients with upper extremity pathologies as well as on better understanding the mechanisms underlying nerve injury induced pain and pathology. My overall goal is to continue to build on the science base for managing disability after upper extremity injury. Currently I am focusing specifically on cold-induced pain in patients with upper extremity injuries and interventions to minimize disability.
