Christine A. Curcio BSc, PhD, FARVO

Christine A. Curcio PhD is professor of ophthalmology at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama, USA. Relying on the Alabama Eye Bank, she investigates human retinal aging and age-related macular degeneration, focused on pathobiology and clinical image validation. Techniques include histopathology, electron microscopy, cell biology, lipoprotein biology, and transcriptomics in >140 peer review articles.
