Christina R. Allen MD

Dr. Christina Allen specializes in the treatment of knee and shoulder injuries, especially in women athletes. An avid soccer enthusiast, Allen is an expert in treating anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries and shoulder athletic injuries. She has a special interest in meniscus transplantation, ACL revision surgery and proximal hamstring repairs, which also are focus areas for her research.

Allen is the team physician for the USA Taekwondo national team and has traveled with the team to many countries including China, Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkey and Mexico for international and Olympic qualification competitions, as well as to London for the 2012 Olympic games. She joined the team for the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto and again for the 2016 Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro.
