Christina Chambers perinatal epidemiologist and teratologist, and co-direct the Center for Better Beginnings at UC San Diego. The Center brings together multiple specialty research and educational programs that work together to promote healthy pregnancies and prevent adverse outcomes associated with exposures during pregnancy and lactation. Additionally, she direct the UCSD ACTRI Center for Life Course Research. This integrated program provides unique multi-disciplinary opportunities to bring pediatricians, neonatologists, internists, family medicine physicians and geriatrics specialists together to study special populations and life course transitions.
