Christina Alessandra Eichstaedt PhD

Christina Alessandra Eichstaedt, after a Bachelor in Molecular Biotechnology at the Technical University of Dresden (Germany) I specialised in human genetics during a Master of Philosophy in Applied Biological Anthropology at the University of Cambridge (UK). For my PhD dissertation I investigated the genetic adaptation to high altitude of Andean populations and received my PhD degree in Biological Anthropology from the University of Cambridge (UK) in 2014.

Subsequently I started a Post-Doc at the Centre for Pulmonary Hypertension at the Thoraxclinic and the Institute for Human Genetics at the University Hospital Heidelberg to research genetics and epigenetics of pulmonary arterial hypertension.
