Dr. Christian Ott is a nephrologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Friedrich-Alexander University (FAU) of Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany. He has a long-standing research interest in vascular medicine. He successfully conducted clinical studies, both interventional and observational studies focusing on vascular structure and function in large and small arteries under different metabolic/pathophysiologic conditions. He published more than 70 articles in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters on hypertension and its target organ damage. In addition, he is a member of the executive committee of DeGAG and a Council Member of the ARTERY Society.
