Christian Munz PhD

Christian Munz is Professor of Viral Immunobiology at the Institute of Experimental Immunology, University Hospital of Zurich, Switzerland. Prior to this he was Assistant Professor at the Rockfeller University and he is still an adjunct member of faculty in the Laboratory of Cellular Physiology and Immunology. He received his Diploma from the University Tubingen in 1995 and his PhD from the same institution in 1998. He is an editorial board number of numerous journals including Blood, Journal of Immunology and Autophagy. Dr. Munz studies the immune control of persistant viral infections with a focus on the immunobiology of the Epstein Barr Virus.
