Christian Lunetta MD

Dr. Lunetta Experienced Neurologist with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & healthcare industry. Skilled in Epidemiology, Molecular Biology, Healthcare, Clinical Research, Medicine, and technology applied to healthcare. Dr. Lunetta is currently the head of the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Unit of the IRCCS Milano, Istituti Clinici Scientifici Maugeri, and he is involved in the care and research in ALS and, as Principal Investigator, in several multinational clinical trials in ALS. Previously he worked in the Neuromuscular Omnicentre (NEMO), as responsible for clinical care and research in ALS at NEMO Center in Milan.

Dr. Lunetta is a member of ITALSGEN, a consortium devoted to performing genetic studies in ALS pts; EURALS group devoted to performing epidemiological studies in NMD pts; ENCALS, the network of ALS Centres in Europe; TRICALS, the international online platform for people, ALS centers and the pharmaceutical industry; NEUROBANK, a patient-centric clinical research platform that allows capture and aggregation of clinical and clinical research data from simultaneously running research projects and links these data with biospecimen repositories, image banks and genetic information. Moreover, Dr Lunetta was the Scientific Director of NEMO Lab srl the first hub for high-tech innovation projects in NMD.
