Christian Gossens PhD, MBA

Christian is leading the Early Development Workflow team in Roche’s Research and Early Development Informatics (pREDi) organization. He is currently focusing to drive innovation into clinical trials by adopting mHealth tools and digital media and for patient and investigator recruitment and engagement.

He has worked extensively on information architecture and data integration projects across the traditional research and development borders as well as across Roche’s Pharma and Diagnostic divisions.

A computational biochemist (EPFL, Lausanne) and MBA (CDI, Paris) by training, he started his career in a leading management consultancy before joining Roche as a director in the Emerging Technology team in Group Research – identifying strategic, game changing trends in the pharma Omics & Digital Health space and developing strategies to act on those. Now he is implementing them.
