Christeen Moburg is the Vice President of Patient Advocacy and Government Relations at Sangamo Therapeutics, Inc. Moburg will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic stakeholder engagement initiatives to advance Astellas’ public policy, as well as business and reputational goals, in the U.S. and in support of the Americas. She will report to Margaret Long, vice president, Business Communications and Stakeholder Engagement.

Moburg brings more than 18 years of health care experience to Astellas. Most recently, she was alliance and advocacy director, US Corporate Affairs Oncology and Infectious Disease, at MedImmune (AstraZeneca), where she was responsible for developing enterprise strategy, building and enhancing partnerships with multiple advocacy groups and working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including government affairs, marketing, compliance, brand teams, medical affairs, communications and other areas.

Moburg earned her bachelor’s in business and marketing from American Intercontinental University.

The Corporate Affairs Department at Astellas combines Corporate, Employee and Business Communications; Government Affairs and Public Policy; Astellas US Foundation; Stakeholder Engagement; Corporate Branding; Corporate Social Responsibility; Medical and Development Communications and Corporate Events to unify the Astellas voice across all internal and external stakeholders.
