Chris S. Karas MD

Chris S. Karas, MD, ABNS, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained neurosurgeon, specializing in minimally invasive spine and cranial surgery. He completed his medical training, residency program and fellowship in endovascular neurosurgery at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

He was prior to joining OhioHealth Neurological Physicians, formerly Columbus Neurology & Neurosurgery, Dr. Karas was a neurosurgeon and medical director at Mercy Brain and Spine Center in Des Moines, Iowa. His other areas of special interest include tumors of the brain and spine, peripheral nerve decompression, hydrocephalus and Chiari malformations, pituitary tumors and neurologic sports injuries and concussions.
