Chris Kolba PT PhD MHS CSCS has over 25 years experience in orthopedic / sports medicine physical therapy. He is a graduate of Ohio University where he obtained is degree in physical therapy. He obtained his Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Indianapolis and his Doctorate in Holistic Nutrition form Clayton College of Natural Health. Chris is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength / Conditioning Association (NSCA). In addition to working in the clinic where he works with patients from young kids, seniors and high school, college and professional athletes, Dr Kolba has been teaching continuing education courses for 20 years.
He is a guest lecturer for the Ohio State physical therapy program as well as an adjunct faculty for the Ohio State residency program. He has published articles for the Journal of Sports Rehabilitation, USA Gymnastics and US News and World Report. Dr Kolba has been incorporating the principles and techniques from the strength and conditioning world into his clinical practice for most of his career. He is an avid believer in the need for strength throughout a lifespan to be healthy, functional and independent. Dr Kolba is married with one daughter. He is very active in resistance training and martial arts and assists in the strength and conditioning program for his daughters national volleyball team.
