Chris Jones MD

Dr. Jones has worked as Deputy Chief Medical Officer for Wales for more than six years, leading whole system service change, developing health policy and advising Welsh Government Ministers. For the first two and a half years, he was also Medical Director of NHS Wales. He is a Deputy Director overseeing the Division of Healthcare Quality in Welsh Government and he leads medical education and training for the CMO. In place of his clinic, he was appointed this year by Health and Care Research Wales as co-lead for Health Services and Delivery Research and then by Cardiff University as Honorary Professor of Health Services Research, based in the Division of Population Medicine.
