Chris Bainbridge

Mr. Chris Bainbridge graduated from Aberdeen University in 1981. He trained in plastic surgery in Newcastle upon Tyne and Canniesburn Hospital, Glasgow. He spent 6 months as Consultant Plastic Surgeon in Ghana with further fellowships in Manchester and Wrightington before becoming a Consultant Hand Surgeon in Derby in 1994. He has been involved with the British Society for Surgery of the Hand and has sat on the Audit Committee and the Editorial Board of the Journal of Hand Surgery.

Chris Bainbridge has a particular interest in microsurgical reconstruction and the treatment of brachial plexus injuries in adults and children. He also has specialist interests in paediatric hand injuries and congenital deformities.
