Chris is a leading Emergency Management practitioner, educator and mentor. Chris has undertaken roles as a national lead facilitator and assessor in EM and Leadership Development in Australia over the past decade. Chris is leading development of an indigenous Community Emergency Response Team program for remote communities. In 2008, awarded a Fulbright Scholarship and embedded into US Emergency Management. As Planning Section Chief for the City of Dallas hurricane operations responsible the establishment of mega shelters, part of a 2.5 million evacuation of Houston. Analysing Hurricane Harvey, what lessons have been learned over the past nine years.
