Ms Chow Pek Yee graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics from University of Kentucky and Master in Nutrition & Dietetics from University of Sydney. She is working at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital Singapore as Principal Dietitian, and oversees the dietetics department. Her previous workplaces include National Kidney Foundation Singapore and Renal Nutrition Support Programme at National University Health System. She has more than 15 years’ experience in dietetics fields and specialising in kidney failure patients. Ms Chow has given numerous professional and public talks relating to a wide variety of nutrition related topics. She is actively involved in Singapore Nutrition and Dietetics Association as various office-bearers since 2000 and has been the president from 2008 - 2018. She has also held regional positions such as the President for Federation of Asian Nutrition Societies (2011 – 2014) and is now the immediate past-President (2015-2019).
