Chiara Robba MD, PhD

Dr. Chiara Robba, MD, Ph.D. is a Medical Director at The Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge University, Cambridge University Hospitals Trust. Chiara Robba studied medicine at the University of Genoa, Italy. While a student, she conducted research in ventilation and neurology. She contributed to several textbooks on intensive care medicine. After graduating from Medical School in 2006, Dr. Robba started her training in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care in Genoa, Italy. After becoming a Consultant, she started to work at the Department of Clinical Neurosciences, Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, UK, where she is actually doing her Ph.D. under the supervision of Professor Marek Czosnyka. Her fields of interest are neurosciences and neurocritical care, with particular attention to brain ultrasound and non-invasive intracranial pressure. These studies are contributing significantly to her Ph.D. thesis and publications on cerebral hemodynamics in TBI and SAH patients.
