Dr. Teris Cheung is an Assistant Professor, at the School of Nursing at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong. She is the pioneer in executing the first pilot RCT using Transcranial Pulse Stimulation on 30 Hong Kong young adults with Major Depressive Disorder in the world. Her expertise lies in cross-sectional studies and interventions on suicide research and prevention, depression literacy, and workplace violence among frontline healthcare professionals. She recently used non-invasive brain stimulation like TPS to evaluate its efficacy on MDD and other neuropsychiatric disorders.
