Dr. Malik is an interventional pain management physician. He is Board certified in Pain Management and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating patients with spinal and musculoskeletal diseases.

He went to Medical school at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, the most prestigious medical school in India. He has trained in Orthopedic surgery at AIIMS. He did his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at University at Buffalo and did his Pain Medicine fellowship at University of Rochester. He has worked at University at Buffalo, University of Rochester and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center before coming to Rutgers.
