Cheryl Y. Gregory-evans BSc, PhD, TD

Dr. Cheryl Gregory-Evans was educated in the UK receiving her Ph.D in Cell Biology from the University of Strathcyde in Glasgow, under the direction of Dr Carolyn Converse. Her postdoctoral research began at the Jules Stein Eye Institute in Los Angeles (UCLA) and continued on her return to the Institute of Ophthalmology (UCL) in London.

She received a prestigious Career Development Fellowship from the Wellcome Trust, leading to her appointment as Lecturer and then Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London. In September 2009 she was recruited to the Department of Ophthalmology at UBC.
