Cheryl Hoerr is an accomplished respiratory therapist, educator, speaker, and author. Volunteering for several professional organizations throughout the years, her passion is to elevate and inspire respiratory therapists while promoting their professional practice.
Besides her position as Director of Respiratory & Sleep Services for Phelps Health in Rolla Missouri, she is also serving as the Vice-President of Internal Affairs for the American Association for Respiratory Care. Cheryl travels the country attending and speaking at professional conferences in order to gain new perspectives and inspire others.
Over the years Cheryl has been recognized with a number of awards including Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women, Management Specialty Practitioner of the Year by the AARC, and the AARC Fellow designation for her achievements and contributions to the organization.
Cheryl loves science and majored in biology at Rockhurst University in Kansas City where she also earned her Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy. When she transitioned into Management she earned a Master's degree in Business Administration/Health Care Management from the University of Phoenix.
