Cheryl Crocker PhD

Cheryl is the Academic Health Science Network Patient Safety Director, a nurse, and teacher, having a background in Critical Care nursing. Cheryl has co-written and edited a textbook ‘Nursing the Critically Ill. Awarded a fellowship at the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement she trained in patient safety at the Institute of Health Improvement, Harvard. Following this Cheryl has worked in senior safety roles, her last role was regional lead for the East Midlands AHSN Patient Safety Collaborative. She continues to support improvements in patient safety across 15 AHSNs.
