Cherrie Z. Abraham MD

Dr. Cherrie Abraham has recently moved to Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon, from McGill University in Montreal and is settling in to his new position as Director of the Aortic Center at the Knight Cardiovascular Institute at OHSU. Dr. Abraham is a global key opinion leader in Advanced Aortic Endovascular Surgery. In 2009, he performed the world’s first total endovascular treatment of an aortic arch aneurysm with a branched arch stent graft.

His clinical research interests include improving outcomes for patients requiring endovascular aneurysm repair, and studying ways to decrease spinal cord ischemia risk in complex endovascular thoracoabdominal aneurysm repair.
