Chen is an assosite Professor at the Center of Gerontology and Geriatrics and National Clinical Research Center of Geriatrics, and geriatric nursing specialist at West China Hospital ,Sichuan Universtiy. She holds a Master and a PhD degree in clinical medicine from the Sichuan Universtiy .She has published more than 100 papers in journals, books and conference proceedings, She has participated in the scientific committee of several associations.
