Chen-ket Chai MSc, PhD

Dr. Chai is a Biomedical Engineer with years of experience in working in Quality Management. He is an expert on risk management according to ISO 14971 and developing medical devices according to state-of-the-art regulatory requirements (MDR, ISO 13485). Growing up in Germany, he worked for several years abroad. He speaks English, German, Dutch, and Cantonese, fluently.

Currently, Dr. Chai is the Director of Quality Management at Greiner Bio-One, he was the team leader in quality management and quality assistance at Xenios a Fresenius Medical Care company. He worked as a Ph.D. student at the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Eindhoven University of Technology (The Netherlands) under Prof. Frank Baaijens on the biomechanical and biological analysis of human atherosclerotic plaques. He was an academic visitor at the Department of Engineering Science at the University of Oxford (UK) after obtaining his Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Hanover (Germany).
