Chelsea Steinberg, OTR/L, C/NDT is the Occupational Therapy Assistant Unit Supervisor for the Inpatient Adult Rehabilitation Unit at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital/Rusk Rehabilitation, in New York, New York, and an adjunct teaching associate of the Occupational Therapy graduate program at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, New York. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2012 and completed the first AOTA-accredited residency program in acute care at the University of Chicago Medical Center in 2014. She has worked for 9 years in adult acute, inpatient, and outpatient neurological rehabilitation settings and has advanced knowledge and clinical skill sets in the rehabilitation of persons with cognitive deficits. Her recent experience includes working on a COVID-19 recovery unit.
Ms. Steinberg has collaborated with Dr. Toglia on a number of cognitive research projects. She has presented several local and national lectures and workshops, focusing on assessment methods and intervention strategies to support and optimize cognitive function, including three national workshops at ACRM and the AOTA Annual Conference. Her publications and research have focused on the application, feasibility, and treatment fidelity of the Multicontext approach to cognitive rehabilitation.
