Chelsea Carle is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) from Newcastle. Having completed a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Honours Class I) at the University of Newcastle in 2016, Chelsea is now completing her PhD to investigate dietary patterns of Australians. Chelsea recognises that health is affected by many dietary factors, and her research focuses on the accumulative effects of food choices, rather than one single food choice or eating occasion.
In addition to her studies, Chelsea works as a clinical dietitian across both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. Chelsea values working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and is passionate about empowering individuals to make nutritious food choices to overcome barriers to achieving balanced nutrition. Chelsea is also a strong advocate for the education of future dietitians through her position as course advisory committee member for the Masters of Nutrition & Dietetics at Swinburne University.
