Charles Michael Lopresti MD

Dr. LoPresti is a hospitalist at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center and a full-time faculty member at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He completed his undergraduate training at Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland, with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. Dr. LoPresti graduated from the University Of Cincinnati College Of Medicine in 2009 with his medical degree and joined the Internal Medicine Residency program at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.

Dr. LoPresti spends his clinical time between the VA inpatient wards and the VA Emergency Department. He has specific interest in the use of procedural and diagnostic point of care ultrasound in these settings, and serves as a national leader in point of care ultrasound for the VA system as well as other Internal Medicine medical societies.
