Charles Louy, MD, Ph.D. is Director of Inpatient Pain Service and Assistant Program Director for the Pain Management fellowship program at Cedars-Sinai. He is board-certified in anesthesiology with a certificate of added qualification in pain management. Dr. Louy’s research interests have included spontaneous cerebrospinal fluid leaks, skeletal, cardiac muscle, and respiratory physiology, mathematical genetics, biomathematical modeling, systems theory, diffusion-reaction processes, and nonlinear regression.
Dr. Louy completed a pediatric residency at Los Angeles County Harbor/UCLA Medical Center, an anesthesiology residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, a cardiac anesthesiology fellowship at New York Hospital, Cornell Medical Center in New York, and pediatric cardiac anesthesiology and cardiac critical care medicine fellowship at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania.
