Charles Joseph Hatem MD

Dr. Charles Hatem is the Harold Amos Distinguished Academy Professor and Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, and the Past Chair of the Department of Medical Education at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He practiced as a primary care physician at Mt. Auburn for 35 years along with his educational responsibilities. Dr. Hatem has had a long interest in the application of educational theory to medical training, including the development of a primary care residency training program at Mount Auburn as well as establishing faculty fellowships in Medical Education within the Harvard medical system.
