Charles Hazlerigg PhD

Charles has a background in ecotoxicology, working with ecological models to study the effects of chemicals on fish populations since 2007. He joined Enviresearch, a consultancy in Newcastle which offers advice and support to the chemical industry in the registration of chemicals, in 2014 and broadened his understanding of environmental risk assessments to include environmental fate modelling, in particular higher tier assessments. He now links environmental fate with ecotoxicology, finding solutions to address the environmental risk for problematic chemicals from both angles. Since 2016 he has been co-ordinating all environmental projects at Enviresearch and is now responsible for the advancement of the specialist technical skills and expertise at Enviresearch over the coming months and years
