Charlene M. Blake Swift BA, MD, PhD

Charlene M. Blake, MD, PhD, has won the 2017 Excellence in Teaching Award from the UCSF Academy of Medical Educators. The Excellence in Teaching Award “highlight[s] outstanding front-line teachers of medical students, residents, and fellows at all UCSF teaching sites who often go unrecognized. These teachers are "unsung heroes" who demonstrate daily their dedication to education and teach in a manner that creates an encouraging and intellectually stimulating environment, which promotes critical thinking and learning.” Dr. Blake, a 2015 John A Watson Scholar, exemplifies these qualities.
