Charfi Chahnez Triki

Professor of Neurology in Sfax University, Faculty of Medecine, Head of Child Neurology department in Hedi Chaker Hospital in Sfax and Director of research unit in Sfax Medical faculty (Tunisia). Received medical education in Sfax Medical University, training in Neurology in National Institute of Neurology (Tunis) and training in child neurology in UCL in Bruxelles (Belgium) and in Kremlin Bicetre (France). Currently President of Tunisian association against epilepsy, President of IBE Regional Executive Committee for the Eastern Mediterranean Region, Secretary of Tunisian child neurology association and President of Research Association for Neurological Disease in children. Professor in charge for the master degree on epileptology in Sfax University which is an elearning education. Memberships in Ligue française contre l’épilepsie, the International Child Neurology Association (ICNA) and the European Society of Pediatric Neurology. Areas of interest: Epilepsy in children, Neurodevelopmental disorders including cerebral palsy, Intellectual deficiency, Neuro-Muscular disease and Leucodystrophy. Conducts national and international researchs on epilepsy in children, intellectual deficiency, learning disabilities, neuromuscular disease and leucodystrophy. Publishing (over 60 publications) on a wide variety of subjects concerning genetic of epilepsy, intellectual deficiency, leucodystrophy, learning disabilities and neuromuscular disorders.
