Dr. Chad W.M. Ritenour, MD, is a Professor of Urology at the Emory University School of Medicine and the Director of the Men's Health and Infertility Division. Dr. Ritenour is also the Vice-Chair of Education and Faculty Affairs, Director of Emory Urology Residency Program, and the Chief Medical Officer at Emory University Hospital.

Dr. Ritenour is a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology (2003) a Fellow of the American College of Surgery. As the Director of Men's Health and Infertility Division, Dr. Ritenour established and expanded the division to become the premier Men's health urology center in Atlanta serving patients from Georgia, neighboring states as well as international patients. The program offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment of conditions such as male infertility, sexual dysfunction, and prostatic conditions. As Director of Outpatient Services, he has worked to develop efficient care processes, including the use of video-assisted educational tools for patients.

As the Vice-Chair of Education and Faculty Affairs, and the Director of Emory Urology Residency Program, Dr. Ritenour is closely involved in teaching and mentoring medical students, urology residents, post-graduate fellows, and junior faculty members. He has built one of the most sought-after residency training programs in the United States. Every year, 300 medical graduates compete for the three residency positions offered by the Department of Urology. He is chair of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education Review Committee, which is responsible for accrediting all urology residency programs in the country.
