Dr. Cesar Fors is a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU and former Associate Program Director of the Rheumatology Fellowship Program at the Division of Rheumatology of the NYU School of Medicine. Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, he attended the University of Michigan where he pursued his undergraduate degree. He received his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School and completed his internal medicine residency at Temple University Hospital in North Philadelphia, where he then served as Chief Resident. He completed his rheumatology fellowship at NYU Rheumatology Division and was selected Chief Fellow.
Throughout his career, Dr. Fors has had a strong commitment to work with under-served urban communities in large safety-net hospitals. For this reason, Dr. Fors continued his work at NYU, establishing clinics at both Bellevue Hospital and Gouverneur Medical Center prior to joining the Concorde Medical Group. Additionally, he is a peer-reviewed author and has published articles and chapters in rheumatology journals and textbooks. Dr. Fors has also had several appearances on Sirius FM’s Doctor Radio. He is very interested in medical education and continues to teach and train medical students, residents and fellows at the NYU Langone Medical Center.
