Cesar Augusto Migliorati DDS, MS, PhD

Dr. Migliorati graduated from the University of Sao Paulo (USP), Brazil in 1972. He holds an MS stomatology and a PhD in HIV studies from USP, specialty in Oral Medicine and an MS in oral biology from UCSF. He is board certified by the American Board of Oral Medicine. He held teaching and research positions in Brazil, United States and Europe. Dr. Migliorati is currently a Professor and Chair of the Department of Diagnostic Sciences and Oral Medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry. He is an examiner for the American Board of Oral Medicine, and a member of the American Academy of Oral Medicine and the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer and the International Society of Oral Oncology. Among many peer-reviewed publications, his letter to the Journal of Clinical Oncology in 2003 was the first report of ONJ in the medical literature.
