Cesar A. Santiago, MD is Board Certified in General and Colon & Rectal Surgery. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and his Doctor of Medicine from the Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. Following an internship and residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, he completed a Fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Santiago’s clinical interests include advanced laparoscopic surgery, robotic surgery, surgical treatment of colon and rectal cancer, colon and rectal polyps, fecal incontinence, diverticulitis, ulcerative colitis, Crohns disease, and anorectal disorders. He has extensive experience in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
Dr. Santiago is the Medical Director of Robotic Surgery at the Advanced Center for Robotic Surgery at St. Joseph's Hospital. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons and the International Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons.
