Cerrone Akil Cohen MD

Dr. Cerrone Cohen joined Duke in 2015 as a faculty member in the departments of Community and Family Medicine and Psychiatry. As part of his practice, he treats both physical and mental illnesses to improve overall patient well-being. His goal is to empower patients to take charge of their own health. Aside from direct patient care, he also works within the Duke Family Medicine Residency Program developing behavioral health curriculum and training residents. His professional interests include primary care psychiatry, medical education, and integrated care. Outside of medicine, he enjoys movies, traveling, and college sports.
