Cengiz Korkmaz MD

He was born in 1964 in Emirdag. He completed his primary school in Emirdağ, Çiftlik village primary school, and his secondary and high school education in Eskişehir, Hamidiye, Yunusemre Teacher-High School as a boarding student. He won the Anadolu University Eskişehir Faculty of Medicine and graduated in 1989 with a first degree.

After completing his internal medicine specialization training at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine between 1990-1994, he completed his Rheumatology specialization training in the Rheumatology Department of the same university between 1995-1998. In 1998, he established the Department of Rheumatology within the body of Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine, Internal Diseases. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2002 and Professor in 2007. He continued his presidency of rheumatology until 2022. Between 2016-2019, he was the head of the department of internal diseases. Currently, a faculty member at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Cengiz KORKMAZ contributes to the training of medical students, internal medicine specialists, and rheumatology specialists at the university.
