Major accountability is for driving and leading the strategic direction to a global team of Data Management Project Leaders to ensure quality, delivery and achievement of business results for all Clinical Data Management services delivered via our DM Alliance/external partners (including where Data Management is part of full service provision by a CRO). Responsible for: --Leadership and line management of a group of globally based Data Management Project Leaders --Recruitment, skills development and succession planning of the DM roles --Input to the development and implementation of strategies to continuously improve the effectiveness of DM for AZ drug projects as a member of the DM Leadership Team. --Operational management of the DM partnership relationships to ensure effective operations, delivery and quality of DM services for drug projects --Monitoring performance and service metrics to assess AZ and DM partnerships performance and propose improvement plans --Acting as first point of contact for escalated issues from the Data Management Project Leaders --Providing DM knowledge and expertise to AZ strategies/initiatives.
