Dr. Crowley-Koschnitzki is an advanced practice nurse practitioner and a graduate-level nursing educator. Certified in four advanced nursing practice specialties, Nurse-Midwifery, Women's Health, Family Practice, Psychiatric Mental Health, and as a Certified Nurse Educator, she seeks to provide excellent care for patients and exceptional educational experiences for students and is a frequent contributing author to advance practice nursing textbooks. With 35 years of nursing experience, Dr. Crowley desires to use her doctoral education to improve patient care and to advance the education of advanced practice nurses. Currently, she serves as an Associate Dean at Chamberlain University College of Nursing, leading the PMHNP track.
Dr. Crowley speaks nationally on mental health issues including postpartum depression screening, treatment-resistant depression, and appropriate benzodiazepine use. She also serves as a consultant for AbbieVie. Dr. Crowley-Koschnitzki was selected as one of five 2016 National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Leadership Mentoring program participants and served as a co-lead for the 2018 NONPF mentoring program. Dr. Crowley works clinically in an outpatient practice where her focus is perinatal and postpartum mood disorders.
