Catherine Varner MD, CCFP (EM), MSc

Dr. Catherine Varner completed her masters in clinical epidemiology at the University of Toronto Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation and is a clinician investigator in the Schwartz / Reisman Emergency Medicine Institute at Sinai Health Systems. She practices emergency medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Dr. Varner is currently conducting research studies in the following areas: management of mild traumatic brain injury in the emergency department, risk stratification for bleeding in early pregnancy, and utilization of point-of-care ultrasound in early pregnancy.
